SahBumNim John Mariotti is the head instructor and branch owner. He has been teaching Martial Arts for over 12 years and has owned the Fernley Dojang (a Korean word meaning training hall) for over 10 years. He currently holds the rank of 4th Dan and is hard at work on his 5th Dan (scheduled for 2008/09). He is a personal student of Grand Master Lou Grasso and continues to receive instruction weekly from Grand Master. He is available for private instruction. He also created Kwan-Do Kardio a form of fitness kickboxing combining the hands of boxing with the feet of TaeKwon-Do. He also teaches Tai Chi K'ung, an Americanized combination of Tai Chi Chuan and Chi K'ung. SahBumNim is has spent years studying child development, nutrition, ADD, ADHD challenges in today's youngsters. A 1978 graduate of Gonzaga University, SahBumNim is in training to become a

certified Non-Violent Communication Trainer. He is also a couple's relationship coach with his partner Francesca Gentille.

KyoSahNim Wendy Tustin has been training in the martial arts for over 10 years. She currently holds the rank of 1st Dan in the Universal TaeKwon-Do system. She has worked with the Lyon County Sheriffs department in the past.

KyoSahNim Nick Evans has been under the tutelage of SahBumNim John Mariotti for more than 6 years. He currently holds the rank of 1st Dan and is hard at work training for his 2nd, scheduled for spring of 2006..

Universal TaeKwon-Do has a vibrant student instructor program where students meet once a month and are trained in proper fitness procedures, teaching methods and other protocols. Look for the " trainee, junior or assistant instructor " patches on their uniforms.
